Life's a nap at the beach

A few weekends ago we were able to go and have some much needed R&R down at San Onofre beach at Camp Pendleton. Heather's step dad is a retired Sgt. Mgr. in the Army Special Forces and therefore has access to the Marine base and the campgrounds right on the beach. We come down at-least once a summer and I must say it is a very good time- The waves are amazing, and there is hardly anyone there so it is like a private beach. They also bring the trailer down so we can have some comfortable relaxation time. This is our niece Kyra posing in her dramatic shot as the waves crash in the background.

Our lovely view.....Not a cloud in the sky

This is what I did most of the time on the beach....

and this is what I did the rest of the time in the trailer!
