Home Sweet Home

Ok so I realize that we moved into our house last November, but I also realize that we do live out in the middle of nowhere compared to the rest of most of our families and some of you may not have had the opportunity to see our humble abode so here are some quick pics.

Obviously the front with plants and trees that have a long way to go- and it was taken before we moved in so the column is actually painted now

The kitchen looks good now but painting it was a pain.

Living room, where we spend most of our time when we are actually home

In front of the fireplace wrestling with the dogs before our Christmas card photo (they weren't too cooperative, but we finally got a decent one)

Our back yard A.K.A. Postage stamp, the dog's house, forever un-landscaped, or our 14 ft. slice of overpriced California real estate.

A Day at the Seal Beach

The Day before I flew out to Rochester, Heather and I decided that it would be a good idea to spend a little time together before I abandoned her for a week so we called up some friends of ours in San Diego and went to La Jolla and saw the seals down on the beach and ate at the Hard Rock Cafe. The food was pretty good but the seals smelled like "Carrots and Throwup"

Our Children

Bailey and Guinness begging for attention. Don't let them fool you, they get plenty of it.

Bailey all ready for her first halloween as a bumble bee

And how could I forget Scoresby, the most spoiled of all stretching out on the carpet, basking in the sun and enjoying the AC all while teasing the dogs outside.

ok so this is supposed to be me and Bailey as simpsons

and here is Heather and Scoresby in Springfield...Don't know exactly what happened to Scores' tail, but you get the idea

Lovely Rochester NY

I just got back from my second round of train ing for Paychex back at their corporate offices in Rochester NY. The training wasn't too exciting but I was able to go and see some sights like Niagara Falls and Palmyra and the sacred grove.

A view looking back at the falls and the bridge we took from the U.S. to Canada

A little closer to the falls just as I was going over in the barrel I rented!

The water drops so far that it created a mist that was like you were under a constant rain.

This is the Canadian side, and I hate to admit it but the U.S. side was one of the filthiest ghetto cities I had ever seen while Canada's side was one of the cleanest places I had ever been to.

This is the view of the falls from a rail car that we took to get up to the restaurants and other shops.

The Smith family log home where Joseph was visited by the Angel Moroni

Me in the Grove

I was in the grove at the perfect time of day to catch some pretty cool beams of light

Maybe I should have majored in photography?

If you look real close you can see two people up in the light..... don't get mad it's only a joke!

Peer Pressure

It's amazing what happens when all your family starts doing something and then you get guilted into following along- So here we are with a blog.
