Dinner on the Doc

So last weekend we were able to indulge a little bit. As many of you may know I make a habit of visiting the chiropractor on a weekly basis because it is free. I get an hour long massage and an adjustment and the doctor waives the co-pay and takes what my insurance will give him.
Anyway when I was in getting my adjustment he asked me why I hadn't been bugging him about my reward for being chosen as the "Patient of the month". I looked at him kind of confused and asked him what he was talking about. He said that every month in the news letter, one of the patients is selected to receive a dinner for 4 at Wood Ranch BBQ on him. Obviously he found out that I don't read the newsletter but he still gave me the dinner anyway. So the next Friday it was on. Heather and I took our friends Ryan and Erica and tried to break the limit that was set by the doctor. He said that no one had ever used all of the allotment. We had a great time and ate like we probably won't eat again- or at least until money is no option.

We had:

2 appetizers $15
16 oz Prime rib $27
Seared Ahi $30
Fillet Minon $26
4 Item BBQ platter $31
side salads, soup, and drinks $20

and
one order of everything on the desert menu $28

Total Bill with tax and tip: $220

Not having to pay for any of it: Priceless!

It totally felt like we were in a MasterCard comercial.

-Side note: If you look at the picture you will notice that we each got a dessert. What we didn't realize is that each one was designed for two people- Oh well it was good- and free!

Wow! I don't think I could eat that much in one sitting if I tried - and even if it was free! Looks good, though.
